The Insulin–Glucagon Seesaw

Your body has two hormones that determine whether it stores fat or burns it. Insulin opens the doors to your cells and pushes blood glucose in — where it gets converted to fat and stored. Glucagon opens the exit doors and releases stored fat to be used as fuel.

Most men eat in a way that keeps insulin chronically elevated — which means the fat storage doors are always open and the fat release doors stay shut. No amount of exercise overcomes chronically high insulin.

and Peptide Injections

When men discover their T is low, the most common response from the medical community is testosterone replacement therapy — injections, gels, or patches. More recently, peptide injections have been heavily marketed as the next solution. Here is what many men are not told upfront:

External testosterone signals your body to stop producing its own. Once you introduce synthetic testosterone, your testes receive a signal that production is no longer needed — and they comply. Many men who begin TRT find they are dependent on it indefinitely.

Will I actually lose belly fat?
